Jacque Buice, M. Ed., MA, LAPC, NCC, CTSCS
CEO
Jacque earned M. Ed Degree in Behavior and Learning Disorders and a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia State University. In addition, she has a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia and received Advanced Level Trauma Consultant Supervisor certification from the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children, Gross Pointe Woods, in Michigan. Most recently, Jacque received a MA Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and is licensed as an LAPC. In addition, she was awarded NCC Certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors.
Jacque is the author of Classroom Guidelines and Strategies for Managing Severe Emotional and Behavioral Disordered Students. She has been instrumental in establishing collaborative protocols between school systems, juvenile courts, the department of juvenile justice and other community agencies.
In 2003, Jacque was named The National Trauma Consultant/Supervisor of the Year for her unique trauma work with the Juvenile Courts and community. In 2005, she founded Collaborations for Resiliency in Children, a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization benefiting children from infant to age 18. Jacque continues to spearhead cutting edge programs and protocols for the entire Appalachian Judicial Circuit. In 2005, Jacque’s Pickens County Resiliency Project provided this areas first wrap around services for children. Jacque served as Pickens County’s LIPT (Local Interagency Planning Team) Chairman in 2009. In 2010, Jacque received the State of Georgia Kids Net Interagency Community Partner Award for “demonstrating outstanding support of system of care and service to children/families.” In 2010, Jacque developed the Assess First Protocol that Collaborations continues to provide the Appalachian Juvenile Court System. And in January 2012, the Appalachian Judicial Circuit chose Collaborations’ DayBreak Substance Abuse Protocol as the treatment model for Pickens, Gilmer, and Fannin youth facing judicial consequences for substance abuse related charges.
In June of 2013, Jacque was asked to serve on Georgia's Committee for the Establishment of Adolescence Treatment Standards for the Georgia's Juvenile Drug Courts.

Cynthia Dorer, LCSW
Cyndy earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga in 1982. She received a Masters Degree in Social Work with a specialty in families and children in 1989 at Altanta University. Her thesis at Altanta University was titled "Using a SSRD to assess the effects of providing outreach counseling to clients in a domestic violent situation." In 1992, she was licensed by the State of Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Cyndy worked in the Domestic Crisis Intervention Unit at Families First. She provided short term counseling to police referrals using an outreach modality. She was trained in family systems theory and crisis intervention theory. Since then, she has been in private practice for the past 18 years. During this time, she has also worked with the Cobb-Douglas Mental Health Center and Magella Behavioral Health in the Mobile Assessment Team.

Donald N. Carson, LPC
Don is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is grateful to be a partner with Collaborations For Resiliency In Children, serving the substance abuse and mental health needs of children, adolescents, and their families in Pickens, Gilmer, and Fannin counties. Don is a seasoned counselor with 12 years experience providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults in Georgia.
